Cookie Policy

1. About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains how RallyBids uses cookies and similar technologies on rallybids.com. Read it together with our Privacy Policy, which explains contact information, service providers and your rights.

A cookie is a small record a website asks your browser to store and return with later requests. Session cookies usually expire when a browsing session ends; persistent cookies have a longer configured expiry. Local storage and session storage are other browser storage mechanisms. Information held only in the running page's memory is different from a saved cookie.

2. What the current website uses

The current RallyBids application does not set its own cookies or use local storage, session storage or tracking pixels. There are no advertising cookies, third-party analytics scripts, social-media embeds, account login cookies or payment widgets on the current website.

Directory search and category filters live in the current page's memory. The contact form temporarily holds entered fields and a random submission reference to handle retries. These values are not intentionally saved by our code in persistent browser storage; submitted information is sent to our server as described in the Privacy Policy. Your browser may separately offer autofill, history or form restoration under your browser settings.

Normal page-response checks on September 9, 2026 did not set cookies. This does not mean every visitor will always receive none: Our hosting provider's security features can respond differently to traffic or a browser challenge.

3. Security cookies

Our hosting and security provider delivers and protects RallyBids. Depending on which protection is applied to your request, it may set cookies to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated traffic or remember a completed security check. These support security rather than advertising. The examples below are conditional; they are not a claim that all are enabled or present on every visit.

Our hosting and security provider may process associated technical information internationally. Contact us for further information about the relevant provider and security technologies. The cookies actually present and their expiry can be viewed in your browser's site-data controls.

4. Other processing is not a cookie

Our contact service uses a daily IP-derived hash and server-side submission counts to reduce spam. These records are stored on the server and are not cookies placed on your device. Their retention is covered by the Privacy Policy.

Hosting or email service logs are distinct from browser cookies.

5. Your choices and consent

We do not currently offer optional analytics or advertising technologies, so there are no optional cookie categories to turn on. We do not treat continuing to browse as consent to future optional cookies. If we introduce technologies requiring consent, we will provide appropriate choices before activating them and update this policy.

You can use your browser's privacy or site-data settings to view, delete or block cookies for rallybids.com. Removing a security cookie may require you to repeat a challenge. Blocking security cookies can prevent parts of the site from loading or working. Deleting cookies does not delete a message you already submitted; use our privacy contact for that request.

Typical controls are found under:

Menu names vary by browser version and device. Private browsing provides a separate browsing session but does not prevent a submitted message from reaching us. We do not currently sell or share information for targeted advertising; the site has no optional advertising processing for a browser opt-out signal to disable.

6. External websites and email

Directory links take you to independent product websites. Those websites may set their own cookies after you visit them; RallyBids does not control their storage or consent settings. A provider's policy link also takes you to that provider's website.

Using our contact form does not require you to log in to Google. Receiving contact notifications in our Gmail inbox does not embed Gmail on RallyBids or set Google advertising cookies in your browser.

7. Updates and contact

We will revise this policy if our actual cookie use changes. The date above identifies the current version. Questions about cookies, storage or privacy can be sent through our contact form.
